For the first time in history, an Arabic country hosts the World Expo. Although it was postponed due to Covid-19, Dubai is set on seizing the opportunity to the fullest. On a site twice the size of Monaco, the Expo is organized around three themed pavilions: Sustainability, Mobility & Opportunity and proclaims to be a blueprint for future smart cities.
Under the banner ‘Connecting minds, creating the future’, over 190 countries will display their most cutting-edge innovations and jaw-dropping products. Belgium for one, has chosen ‘Smart and Green Belgium 2050’ for its theme and can be found in the mobility pavilion.
